Dr. Abdulraheem Yacoub is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center with a clinical focus on hematologic malignancies and cellular therapeutics. His other clinical interests include hematological cancers, chronic lymphocytic leukemia and myeloproliferative neoplasms, with research emphasis on the pathogenesis and treatment of these neoplasms through clinical trials. He is an active member in several cancer-related organizations including the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Oncology, Southwest Oncology Group and the Myeloproliferative Diseases Research Consortium. He received his medical degree from Jordan University in Amman, Jordan.
