Lydia Scarfò, MD, is a Physician Scientist at the B-cell neoplasia Unit and an Assistant Professor at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, Milano, Italy.

Dr Scarfò received a degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Ferrara in 2006, Specialization in Hematology in 2012, Specialization in Internal Medicine in 2017. In 2012 she moved to the San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milano, where she is now involved in both preclinical and clinical studies. She is currently co-investigator in over 20 clinical trials in CLL and related disorders, including phase 1 studies; she is principal investigator in a Phase 3 trial for first-line treatment in follicular lymphoma. She successfully completed the Clinical Research Training in Hematology (CRTH) year 2016-2017, promoted by the European Hematology Association (EHA).
