Dr. Keyur Patel is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Hematopathology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (UTMDACC). He obtained medical school education at St. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College in India (1999) and immigrated to the US to pursue doctoral research training in molecular pathogenesis at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, VA. Upon completion of Ph.D. training in 2004, he joined the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency program at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in Long Island, NY. Dr. Patel has obtained subspecialty training in Hematopathology (Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY, 2009) and Molecular Genetic Pathology (UTMDACC, 2010).
